Men's Ministry

Ministry Leaders: Pastor David Marini, Larry Pope - Elder

Guiding Scriptures - Psalm 1:1-3: "Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper."

Our desire is to grow and encourage men to be strong in their commitment to the Lord and in the knowledge of His Word. Such men will be Godly husbands and fathers and will contribute to the work of the Lord in this community. In addition to our Sunday morning and Wednesday evening services, we offer these other opportunities for men to grow in their knowledge of God's Word and in their service to Him:

Saturday Men's Prayer Breakfast

Breakfast potlucks are held quarterly at 9:00 am in the church fellowship hall. The meal is followed by a time of worship and prayer, and then an exhortation by one of the men of the church or a guest speaker.

Men's weekly Bible Study

Meets Tuesday evenings at 7:00 pm in the church. Men study verse by verse through one book of the Bible at time. This is an interactive Bible study, allowing for questions and discussion.

Men's Annual Conference / Retreat

Each year we will set aside a weekend for men to get away to devote concentrated time to worshipping the Lord and studying His Word. These trips also provide an opportunity for the men of the church to draw closer together as brothers in Christ. Watch the announcements for the next event.

One on One discipleship

We look for every opportunity to pair up men who are new in their faith with another brother in the church who has more years walking with the Lord. These opportunities for personal discipleship are invaluable for getting closer to the Lord.
